I’m Drew — the one doing the work on every account. When you hire Vachal Web Design & SEO, you get me: the same person who quotes the job, designs the site, writes the code and sends you the monthly report.

I’ve been building and ranking websites since 2014 — 150+ of them, all on WordPress. It started with a fan site for Boise State football that grew to 80,000 followers, and a first client build for a non-profit in San Diego. I’ve worked from my studio in Eagle, Idaho ever since.

Distance has never been the issue. I work with companies, clinics, law firms, churches and non-profits from Burns, Oregon to Fairfax, Virginia, and every one of them gets the same thing: me, directly, from the first audit to the monthly report — no account managers, no hand-offs.

What that means for you in the Gallatin Valley: one person who knows your site, your rankings and your busy season, and who answers the phone when you call. I already work with a business in Bozeman, so I know the market. When I’m in town you’ll probably find me playing pickleball at The Picklr — come say hi.

// Why it matters

Bozeman is growing faster than its search results can keep up with.

Every year Bozeman adds new residents, new businesses and a new wave of visitors headed for Big Sky or Yellowstone — and almost all of them find what they need by searching on a phone. The three businesses in the map pack get the calls. Everyone else gets scrolled past.

The competition is real but beatable. Plenty of Gallatin Valley businesses are still running a slow site from years ago with a half-finished Google Business Profile, hours that don’t match, and no reviews since last ski season. A fast site and a complete, active profile put you ahead of most of them.

I already work with a business in Bozeman from my studio in Eagle, Idaho, and with clients across Montana, Idaho, Oregon and Washington. Everything happens remotely — audits, design reviews, monthly reports — and you always deal with me, not an account manager.

// Where I've worked

From the Treasure Valley to Bozeman and both coasts.

Most of my clients are in Idaho, but a good website and a well-run Google Business Profile don’t care about distance. The pulsing dots are places I’ve built and ranked sites — Bozeman included — from San Diego to Fairfax, Virginia. Every one of them works with me the same way a client down the road does: directly, and start to finish.

Every category wins search a little differently.

Tap a category to see what actually moves the needle for it in the Gallatin Valley.

Outfitters & guides+

Seasonal hours, trip pages that rank before the season starts, and a Business Profile that shows "open" when Yellowstone traffic is searching.

Contractors & builders+

Service-area pages for Bozeman, Belgrade and Big Sky, project photos on your profile, and reviews that mention the work — that's what wins "contractor near me."

Dental & medical+

Fast mobile site, online booking that actually works, and a profile with every service listed. Patients pick from the map pack; be in it.

Restaurants & breweries+

Menu, hours and photos kept current on Google, a site that loads on a phone in under a second, and reviews answered within a day.

Real estate & property+

Neighborhood pages, IDX that doesn't kill your speed score, and a profile that ranks for the valley, not just the office address.

Gyms, studios & wellness+

Class schedules that Google can read, MSU-timed promotions, and a review routine that keeps you above the franchise down the street.

// Local knowledge

Bozeman search runs on two seasons and a whole valley.

Bozeman has a winter economy and a summer economy, and search follows both. Ski-season searches spike from December to March; Yellowstone traffic, weddings and construction take over from June to September. I plan content and Business Profile posts around that calendar so you’re visible when people are actually looking.

Google also treats the valley as separate places. Belgrade, Four Corners, Big Sky, Livingston and Gallatin Gateway each get their own map results, and a site that only says “Bozeman” is invisible in half of them. If you serve the whole valley, your site needs pages that say so.

Then there’s Montana State: 17,000 students, parents and staff who arrive every August with no idea who the good dentist, mechanic or pizza place is. Reviews and a complete profile are what win them over.

// Questions from Bozeman business owners

Straight answers.

How much does a website cost in Bozeman?

Most small-business sites I build run in the low-to-mid four figures depending on pages, features and content. You’ll get a fixed quote after a short call — no hourly surprises. Local SEO starts at $900/month — see Local SEO pricing.

How long until I show up in the Bozeman map pack?

Profile and site fixes usually move rankings within 4–8 weeks. Competitive categories like contractors, dental and personal injury take 3–6 months of steady reviews and content. I track positions across Bozeman, Belgrade and Big Sky so you see the trend, not one screenshot.

Do you need to be in Bozeman?

No. I work with clients across Montana, Idaho, Oregon and Washington from Eagle, ID — including a business in Bozeman today. We meet over Zoom, I run a full remote audit of your rankings across the valley, and you get a monthly report you can actually read.

Can you handle a seasonal business?

Yes. Outfitters, lodges, ski shops and landscapers all have on and off seasons, and the site and Business Profile should reflect it: seasonal hours, posts timed to the calendar, and content that ranks before the season starts rather than during it.

Do you only work with WordPress?

Yes. It runs over 40% of the web, you own it outright, and any developer can pick it up after me. No proprietary builder, no monthly ransom.

Will I be able to update the site myself?

Yes. Every site comes with a walkthrough and a short video so you can change text, photos and posts without calling me. For everything else, my maintenance plan has you covered.
