Hacked website cleanup in Boise
Malware warning, spam pages, a redirect to somewhere ugly, or a host that shut you down — I clean the infection, close the hole it came through, and get the warnings lifted.
A hacked site loses trust faster than it lost traffic.
Google flags it. Browsers throw a red warning. Your host may suspend the account. Meanwhile the site is quietly serving spam pages, redirecting visitors, or sending phishing email from your domain — and every hour it stays that way is more damage to your reputation and rankings.
Cleaning it properly is more than deleting a few files. Hackers leave backdoors so they can walk back in after you “fix” it. I find every injected file and database entry, remove the backdoors, patch the plugin or password that let them in, rotate every credential, and harden the site so it doesn’t happen again.
Then I request the review with Google, clear the blocklists, and watch the site for 30 days to make sure it stays clean. If it makes sense to move to better hosting while we’re at it, I can migrate it at the same time.
